I can't answer for sure, but i know other places I fish, if you would want to use them for bait, they would have to be of legal minimum size for that species. I'm just going off of what I KNOW from fishing the ches. bay. We've used croaker as bait, but they have a minimum size of 9" so inorder for us to keep and use them, they have to be at least 9".

I would ASSUME, but not 100% sure, it would be similar for perch.

Thanks killin'time, I was thinking is was legal but wasnt sure.

You should see the looks people give me when I catch a trout on one pole. Then put it on another pole as bait for catfish and muskie. It is legal as long as they are caught legaly. You have to count each one you use as bait against your daily limit.
