These money hunts have guys I know hunting coyotes at only those specified times. They aren't very successful either. I'd rather they hunt coyotes all the time and actually kill some each year. LOL though 1 cheated them this year by being hit by a car. Someone needs to do more coyote hunting and trapping north of me as the beasts are killing the red foxes off. Don't look to me to get any. I've tried trapping right in the middle of them, all they do is put skunks in my traps.

Kirk - I think as windy as it is tonight around here, unless you were shooting less than 20 yards, your bullet would be 4' off its intended path. WINDY!!!!!!! Our power was out for almost 4 hours.

Ken - I know I really had myself pumped up to go afte some yotes and its not looking good. All charged up and unable to get favorable conditions. I might have to fight another day if this keeps up.

I would think a trapped yote with a damaged leg or foot showin it was trapped first would be disqualified. If you want to get rid of the cheatin just reduce the huge ridicoulous payouts to more realistic levels with more categories.

No matter what you do to change the rules for this and that, the bottom line is that when there is money involved, there will always be cheating

Often times there is little if any at all visible foot damage.

But that is what draws all the hunter to enter in the first place, money. No money, no hunters.

Just saw an intersting photo out of PA today. Penned up coyote pups in a dirt floor style kennel. Wonder what they were for? Hmmmm. Before anyone asks the PGC is quite aware of it.
