The Tomahawks have mostly woods walks. http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeqx0dc/tomahawksblackpowderclub2/ I believe Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers does as well. http://www.harrisburghunters.org/ There is a club with a winter shoot program over near Boyertown however, I do not remember the name. Columbia Fish and Game generally has a Black powder open house about this time of year.(this weekend) http://www.columbiafishandgame.org/id7.html

For ten to 15 dollars you can join the PA Federation of Black Powder Shooters and they publish a list of shoots through out the state.

And don't forget that Lancaster Longrifles four day get together the beginning of May

I found Tomahawks this past weekend, and loved it! Also planning on the Columbia event this weekend, hoping they let me put a couple of deer hairs on the paper targets so I can hit 'em.....lol. Thanks for the replies, much appreciated!! Are you planning on attending any of the upcoming events?

this weekend - daughter's year end awards banquet with the horsey snobs.

Although I try to make tomahawks in March.

There are a few guys here that attend the Hbg H&A shoots. I'll make it over to the Lancaster Longrifles rondy in May for a day or so.

I live about 5 miles from Pickle road.

I have not been around much after mom passed and I would love to get out and shoot---It has been too long for me---I dont know if I remember how to load the darn gun---LOL --Helping out dad takes all my energy and Im very frustrated with him right now--I need a day with the gun in the woods --even if I shoot like cr@%. Zimm post the date for the on eon Pickle Rd since its just down the road from me.
