I'd like to see it. Even with a limited magazine like 5 rounds or so.

But this is an "old State" with "old thinking."

Just my thoughts. And I've been hunting since 1970.

I see no reason for them at all.

I don't see Pa allowing semi-autos for hunting situations. The state isn't progressive enough and somehow it would be viewed as contributing to the gun problems in Philly and surrounding counties.

I also would not want to see the "one day wonders" have the ability to send 8 or more shots in the direction they saw a flash or heard a twig snap. Think hunter safety should stay what is most important.

I would like to see them allowed. Such a loss of money making potential for gun shops here in PA. Not only that states that have such strict gun laws like NY even allows them to be used. The other thing that baffles me is you can hunt with a semi auto rifle but when I go water fowl hunting or small game hunting I can use a semi auto shotgun.

I understand the safety aspect. I also understand the laws but it is like Sunday hunting it is already allowed in some form or another.

Cut an arm off and hunt with whatever style rifle you want.

Seriously I wish they were legal for varmints/predators and small game with a 5 round limit on the clip, but do I think it will ever happen. Not in this change is evil state

No, and whats the point in it really? I have an AR and it wouldn't be my first choice to take out of the cabinet for anything ..

it'd be nice to have the choice to pay taxes or not as well. All I can see is a bunch of GI Joe wannabe's carrying around their bushmasters. Want to hunt with a semi, join the army. There is a place for them, I don't feel it is in what is becoming the overpopulated state of PA. Heck, a LOT of areas in PA that currently aren't designated for shotgun only probably should be. I think some guys on here are thinking the opposite direction when it comes to safety.
