I am feeding my pup pro plan, she does good on it. I feed my two male beagles 4 Health Performance from Tractor supply. It's a grain free kibble. From an ingredient stand point it looks just like Taste of the Wild which I fed them as puppies. Just costs a lot less. Will still have to pony up for it though, 30-35 dollars for 35 pounds.
Shayne I have heard that 4Health Stuff is so post to be good I may have to pick some up the next time I am at tractor supply. I just cant see leaving the Purina Pro Plan.
I like it alot, my dogs seem to do good on it. They just ran close to 18 miles the other day and they didn't show signs of slowing down so I'll take that. I always look at ingredient lists, this stuff just seems better than anything Purina.
Even though i am feeding my pup the pro plan performance now, it is more of a comparative experiment, not because I am displeased with 4 Health. I would love to still be feeding TOTW but I can't see paying it's price when the ingredient list on 4 health looks almost identical.
**As a side note, I think that Taste of the Wild is also made by Diamond like 4 health. The kibble visually looks close to the same thing (basically same food, different bag??)
