Ron Paul just gained 10% in New Hampshire - a little more growth in polling and Obomney will be within the margin of error.

If you want to believe that Iran is actively seeking and within weeks or months of a nuclear weapon, please prove Ron Paul incorrect. It should be easy to do, the IAEA reports are online.

The latest report is dated from November 2011. It's pretty extensive and details the Iranian nuclear program.

There is nothing in the IAEA report that states Iran is even actively seeking nuclear weapons, much less that they are within months of achieving their supposed goal.

I support the right to free speech and Ron Paul's views on foreign policies are dangerous. The United States is a military superpower and with that power comes responsibility. Paul's view's are outside the mainstream thinking on things like foreign aid and this countries responsibility to it's allies. Paul also has made off the wall comments about 9/11 and going back to the gold standard. Ron Paul wants to gut the military budget another disastrous move in a world filled with communism and extreme radicals. In this line of thinking Paul in no different than Obama.

Paul has yet to come under the microscope of the so called mainstream, but if he continues rise in the polls so will the scrutiny, His numbers will drop like hat at the first sign of a raciest comment or that unseen skeleton. Paul's isolationists and libertarian views may appeal to some young people and the left-wing pacifist as well as some Independents but it is a sub-zero gain to the evangelicals.

Paul has made tactical error on his thinking about foreign issues though I believe these are deep-core honest views that he sticks by, they are just wrong for America. He has decided to run as a Republican when he is a isolationist and a libertarian because he knows there is other chance at the Presidencies but through the Republican party. Paul faces a political mountain that he will not be able to summit because he is outside the Republican establishment, if the intellectual Republican GOP's don't kill him the mainstream media will, that's just the way it is.

And last night he made off the wall comments on Jay Leno, saying that Bachman hates Muslims, and that Santorum hates Muslims and Gays.

He really ia a pitiful old man, saying anything he can to get some attention. And telling college kids he'll let them smoke dope to get their vote (err, his 10 percent)

and he brings home the bacon for his district even though he claims he never supports such measures

The IAEA report NOWHERE STATES that Iran is actively seeking a nuclear weapon, much less that they are within weeks or months of acquiring one... much less a nuclear missle striking Israel (nor the USA).
Dr Paul also thinks that Israel is more than capable of dealing with her neighbors as a sovereign state. We all know that militarily, no one in the region would stand a chance against her. Bankrupting our nation in order to keep chains on Israel does Americans no good - neither is it biblical, if one is a person of faith.

Ron Paul's stance on 911 is in full concurrence with the CIA. The CIA states that we weren't attacked because we are Free. They state we were attacked because of our unconstitutional meddling in the affairs of Arabs since 1953.

Several of the 911 Commissioners stated that they believe that the Bush Administration, Pentagon and Intelligence organizations did not fully tell the truth with regards to their input on the Report. Those same commissioners believe that a full, independent investigation into 911 should be carried out.

Paul Wolfowitz agrees with Ron Paul with regards to American Military in the shadow of the House of Saud. It will cause further blowback due to the "infidels" being so close to Mecca.

So, to think that RP lives in political fantasyland is to be outside of the realm of reality.

He is on the correct side in terms of History, Constitutionalism and Biblical doctrine.

One should check their premises if they think scrutiny will hurt Dr Paul. Especially if the "intellectuals" are half as intellectual as they portray themselves to be.

With regards to the Gold standard - it is also FACT that governments that are forced to have something backing their currency can NOT have the rampant spending that we 'enjoy'.
It forces government to live within its means, just like the people. Only banks and the Uber Left would think that living within ones means is not mainstream. If it doesn't matter, why bother with a link to the debtclock? The Leftist GOP hopefuls will not cut a single cent of spending. All of their proposals take away some increases in spending... so we'll still spend more money, but just not as much as Obama. They'll increase the debt, just at a nicer pace.

In fact, I'd wager (if I were a betting man) that the majority of folks registered GOP were alive when the US was taken off of the gold standard.
