If you can use your flintlock as a doe tag during the flintlock season, can you do the same if you opt to use your crossbow instead of your flintlock at this time?

I believe you mean, you can use your buck tag as a doe tag during flintlock. I don't think you can do the same with a crossbow.

Can't use your cross bow instead of a flintlock in the late season. If you have an archery license you can use a cross bow instead of a regular bow.

No you can't. Only flintlocks can be used for doe or buck with a buck tag. I don't hunt with a flintlock but I think it's good that they allow it.

Only flintlock hunters with a muzzleloader tag can use their back tag for either sex in the late season.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind this? Not saying I agree or disagree, I just don't understand why you can use buck tag anywhere in the state on a doe with a muzzleloader and not a bow?

i say now it is about license sales. if you didnt get your buck and dont have a doe tag alot of hunters are gonna buy a flinter license and try to fill their tag. it used to be if you bought a flintlock license you had to forfiet your doe permt application so that is why it was then.

Bern hope that comment was a joke...I'm almost 1000% certain that you could use your buck tag for a doe in flintlock season with a flinter before HR was implemented....
