I seem to remember a thread going around at some point about sights that attach right to the Traditions muzzleloader that were WAY better in terms of adjustability and not breaking.
I believe they were a metal blade site. I do like the fiberoptic though. Can anyone weigh in?

I would sell that gun & buy a new M/L. I had the same gun & every time you tilted the gun I lost all my powder. I'd be afraid to sell that gun to anyone. Never had a problem with my T/C. with fifber optic sights.

I have had my traditions DeerHunter for 6 years now. I have never had a single prob with it. I would never spend my money on a T/C all you are paying for is the name. My brother inlaw has a T/c and when he turns over all the powder comes out.

It's not necessarily the gun causing the powder issue. Never had an issue with my Lyman and changed frizzens....it did not fit properly and a gap was present. Changed the frizzen to another new one bought at same store, same brand, same time....no issues.

As for the sights, I agree with Forestry. I've put RMC's and True Glos on Traditions. Both are far better than the junk that comes on the gun. Not too expensive and great improvement for the money. Good Luck!!

I have a PA Pellet that came with some very lame plastic fiber-optic sights. I had a heck of a time keeping them adjusted correctly and finally the rear sight stripped out on me. I saw a thread on here about a year ago for metal sights, bought them and once sighted in have not had to tweek them since. Here's a link to the vendor I used...
