Get in the thicket nasty swamps if available. If no swamps are around lural thickets work too. One of the best pieces of advice I can give you is when you see a bear and you go to shoot keep shooting till he's down and when he is down put another round in him to make sure he stays down. If you think a deer can be amazing on how far they can go while wounded a bear is beyond that. Best of luck to you.

find a ridge with acorns & laurel.
