UnionCountyPA UnionCountyPA member Registered: Mon Dec 08 2008 Posts: 125 Loc: Lewisburg	I got the first two days of bear off, so I thought I would try it out this year...any tips. I have seen some bear in archery, and a lot of sign, just not sure how to hunt them. ACEarcher ACEarcher old hand Registered: Tue May 19 2009 Posts: 749 Loc: Lancaster, Pa	Get in the thicket nasty swamps if available. If no swamps are around lural thickets work too. One of the best pieces of advice I can give you is when you see a bear and you go to shoot keep shooting till he's down and when he is down put another round in him to make sure he stays down. If you think a deer can be amazing on how far they can go while wounded a bear is beyond that. Best of luck to you.
