OK, just wondering what's the top picks when it comes to Make & Model for entry level Duck Calls?

Also, what's the Pro's / Con's on Single vs. Double Reed calls?

Let'r Rip!

I use a double reed Paul Kingyon, you cannot make the reeds stick.

A double reed has the Duck built into it and is easier to sound like a duck in my opion... However you can get more out of a single reed as far as dynamic range goes but you have to add the duck to it so its a little harder to learn on...

A good entry call - the Duck Commander Original. It's a double reed. It's real easy to use, sounds good and can basically do whatever you want with it for about $19.00.

I have a zink ph-1 polycarb. I like it and don't plan on putting out the money for an acrylic any time soon. We'll see how much different it sounds tomorrow against my bros acrylic.

Southern came calls make a sweet duck call! I still use the same little joel I bought as my very first duck call about 10 years ago!
