What type and size trap works best for coyotes? Also what bait and set layout?

1 1/2" or 1 3/4" double coil spring? Also what is a good setup for both coyote & fox?

I would go with #2 bridger or duke traps for coyotes with
cable stakes with an earth anchor. I use dirt holes and
post sets for coyotes. As far as bait there is many bait
and lures out there that will bring in the coyotes and fox.
Carmens, Mark june, O'Gormans have some good ones. Most of
the places I trap have coyotes and fox so I just set up for
yotes, anything that will hold a yote will hold a fox.

I like a 1 3/4 offset (duke). double staked with 18" rebar. There are way too many baits and lures to use. I like a llot of stuff from Eplers. But also Milligans Steppenwolfe II, Or you could be adventurous and make your own bait by mix bacon grease with Beaver castor oil or ground Beaver castor sacks

i normally used 2 and above most with 4x4 coils esp in the freezing temps with 4x4s. however not to many yotes down my way to catch, but i set for them anyway.
