Seeing the posts of the Late season hunts I was thinking maybe there would be interest in the 4C area for an HPA hunt. I never have anyone to hunt late season with except sometimes my son will go with so it would be nice to be with other fellas. Anyone interested and have ideas?

Them areas are good. Have you hunted them areas before? I hunted over there one time so if someone familiar with the area could come up with a hunt plan that would be great and that whole week after Christmas I am available.

tradco,

Have hunted Stoney Valley for many years and there are some fabulous ares to hunt there in the late season. The clear cuts from the concrete bridge to paking lot on Indiantown Gap side of the creek are great if you have a few guys to drive. Let me know as time goes by here and I would be happy to join if I have a tag left. Already have the mountain bike and tree stand cart to haul out deer.

That sounds great GBJ. I know I would be in whenever it would suit.

I sent in my application for a 4C license over the weekend. My tags are usually PGC donations anyway, and would enjoy a 4C hunt with like-minded flinters, so call me a pretty-near sure thing.

Start looking for a cheap bike. The railroad bed is nice, fairly level, and a easy ride back in.

I've got a second bike that someone can use. Last week of the season is absolutely awesome out there. We will be all alone and the deer will be returning to their normal patterns. A skif of snow makes a big difference out there.
