Thanks for the link, I roughed in some nocks today and did some tillering I like the way its bending. I need to get the mid section and tips bending more. I will post some pics later.

Here are a couple of the roughed in nocks, I will clean them up after.

I like the way you cut the nocks, I hadnít seen them done like that before, pretty cool.

ran in to a little problem, There must of been a hairline crack in the backing that I did not see until I started bending the bow. I think I should be ok. I put some glue on it and I am going to wrap the area with sinew. I need to get more bend on the right side and mid limb on both sides.

Any thoughts on repairing the crack or general tillering please let me know

JK, I'd been watching for a post from ya, good to see you're working at it. Too bad about the crack but sounds like a good plan to deal with it. Take it real easy and watch it closely.

Thanks loridr,

I wrapped some sinew around the crack and it seems to be holding fine. Once I get near the end of tillering I will permanently fix the sinew with glue. Haven't had enough time to work on it as much as would like but it's coming along. I want to try and make a flemish string this week.
