Got some pics of this guy. Wow, knew we had them in the state but never this close to the special Reg's areas. Maybe the State Stocked them? ... Not a fox, added one for scale. Now, how to kill them? Should be a fun archery season! Right next to Evansburgh State Park in 19426.... Close to Norristown...
Saw a dead one on Rt 23 just outside of Freedoms Foundation probably 10 - 15 years ago. just out of curiosity I called the GC and the guy told me they have been in this area for a long time. Seldom seen, but in residence.
I live n hunt mid bucks county,south of nockamickon and I get pics all the time. Had 4 on one pic couple years ago. Have shot 2 already my buddy has also.....3-4 years ago I saw 11 in one day hunting first week Nov. now I was out all day so I assumed I saw a couple more than once....
These coyotes do not vocalize around here like they do out west. That is why folks don't know they exist, but they do.
If you see them, shoot them.... there are alot more around then you would think.
They decimated the turkey population up my way. I don't even hear a gobble anymore. Especially this time of year.
i hear them howling now and then. woke me up one winter night. sounded like it was right outside. not sure how to feel about that..
