Forgot to mention..anyone venturing out to either Rose Valley or Hunter's Lakes...be sure to wear your boot spikes. The rain this past Thurs froze over & it's like a sheet of glass out there!!

thats the way Lyman was...couple good gusts I was ice sailing...lol

Yeah...even my ole elcheapo spikes were even giving way to those 40 plus MPH winds this past Friday & Saturday.
Just got me a pair of HD Stabilicers(pic below) but with this unusually warm weather mebbie be a while till they see any ice.

Any reports of ice out there??

LOL!! Thanks for report!!

Only likely chance of ice up in Sullivan County may be Bear Wallow Pond in Loyalsock State Forest. That area is like going into the Ice Age even during the Summer months!! lol

Anyone at all cking any lakes??

Especially interested in Hunters Lake, Rose Valley Lake & Bear Wallow Pond up un Sullivan/Lycoming Counties.

Headin up this Thurs-Saturday & likely be takin my 22Mag as a back-up to hunt yotes/squirrels in case no fishable ice.

Appreciate any input...

not sure about them but the winter report on parks here is link...reports on most lakes are not good

hope t works it did for me earlier the most Ice on the list was ricketts glenn at 5" cold weather area lyman has 2" so....take the gun and the boat...lol
