Is that open to all shooters, or is membership required?

Boyertown is open to all shooters, guys and gals come from all over.
It's a real nice woods walk with some challenging targets.
Well organized. The folks that run it, do a great job.

Longest is around 60-70 yards? Closest is a tack on a stump several feet away.

Went to the Harrisburg Hunters & Anglers woods walk last Sunday. It was a wash out due to rain. A couple of us did go to the range, which has covered shooting positions, and did a little practice. Man, do I need a LOT more offhand practice haha. Hung out in the muzzleloader's club house for a couple hours and enjoyed soaking up the knowledge.

They shoot every Sunday at 8am. I'll go again but wish I could get more practice in first.

Is that just "show up and shoot," kinda like an archery 3D shoot, or is there more to it?

Yep, open to the public for the woods walk. I did not get to see the course since we got rained out. I was a member for 10 yrs and never walked the course then either haha. I went down to the regular range just to watch a couple guys shoot and kill time hoping for a break in the rain and was invited to shoot too. Told them I was no longer a member but was told on woods walk days, you did not need to be a member to use the regular range for practice.

To shoot the woods walk is $3 for non club members if I remember.

Hmmm....maybe worth a drive Sunday morning.

Do you know how many targets one has to be prepared to shoot?

No idea. Never got to see the course and I did not ask. When I got there I asked if I could tag along on the 1st relay to watch, but like I said, it was a washout so never saw the course. Supposed to be nice weather tomorrow so I will see then
