Killer Bear Killed in Yellowstone

Pretty good read.

I really can't stand stories written in a manner the author believes an animal would think. No one knows an animal's point of view and this kind of story is a prime example of the (Disneyfication) , humanizing of animals and wildlife specifically.

More interesting reads. Each bear attack is through investigated, inside and outside of Y-stone. Here is the NPS report and FWS report on the Mary Mountain Attack. It gets pretty detailed. I don't think they leave much out except photos of the victim.

I find myself agreeing with John, more and more, time after time (other than the political forum- but I guess we all can't be perfect)..... I wish my co-pay for therapy wasn't so high....maybe I should check into this Obamacare stuff, huh, John. Enjoy your day everyone! Keystonepaul

I'm with John S and Keystone Paul, that article is written from the delusional perspective of someone that treats animals as equals. There is a difference between respect for animals and treating animals as peers. I think its safe to say all of us here have respect for animals, but don't have reverence for them as peers.
