heres one of my Amish machine guns from the back of the safe. A very clean rem 760 308 made in July 1957. this is one of the good ones. blueing is original and about 85% with some wear on the high spots and carry points as would be expected. wood is excellent with original finish and nice grain. barrel is standard 22" and comes with non-factory sling swivel and barrel band. factory d&t'd for scope and comes with see through mounts. it carries and shoots like a dream. if you are looking for a good pump, this is the one for you. old 308's of this vintage are fairly rare. most were '06's. i am selling this to fund some other purchases. would consider trades toward s&w 22 or 44 revolver or remington pump carbines which suits my collecting style more these days.
$400 OBO FTF only in the pittsburgh or Bedford areas. no lowballs, i know what these guns are worth and this is a good one and i won't sell it for less than it is worth. PM if you want additional pics or info.
thanks. it is a beauty. if i can't sell it i may just put a set of talley lightweight one peice mounts on it and a good 2-7x32 on it and leave it in the safe for my kids to find someday. it really should go to a good home where it can be appreciated even more than it is here. hint, hint.
