Central PA Fur Buyers

Anyone know of some? I'm in Mifflin County. I know of Dutch Elsesser in McAllisterville and that's it. Also, if you get a number of a buyer do you just give them a call or how's that work? Thanks guys

Re: Central PA Fur Buyers

All my furs are headed directly to Canada (Fur Harvesters).
Last year a guys sold coons to a local fur buyer and averaged $5.56 for good coon. I averaged $16.74. It's a no-brainer for me. I tend to watch the market more too.

Re: Central PA Fur Buyers

For me Canada is the way to go also.....Last year my local fur buyer quoted me at $ 1.00 for early fox....Maybe $5.00 for later better goods. I averaged 14.12 in Canada with early Fox and $16.50 for the prime coon I sent up. I will continue to buy my supplies from my local fur buyer....but as far as selling fur....I'm sending it north.

Not to highjack but anyone know a buyer in Blair county or somewhere close. Only my second year and just got my friend into trapping this year could realy use someone to show us how pelts are put up right.
Thanks in advanced
