New SGL 87

Anyone seen a map of just what is supposed to be added to SGL 87? Lot of speculation, but I haven't seen anything for certain.

Why do they call it common sense when it is so rare.

Re: New SGL 87

It was posted on the PGC website when the announcement was made a couple months ago.A map was posted and it appeared to be the property that ran into SG7 87 along curry run and beech run.I talked with a buddy of mine of Friday that works for the food and cover crew.He said they were going to start making the boundaries next week.

Re: New SGL 87

Problem is, the 2 parcels that adjoin SGL 87 only make up a little over 2,000 acres. New Forestry LCC (the old Deemer estate) has a lot more property south of the splash dam road, but they have a lot of other property owners sprinkled throughout. I'm assuming that they will all have to be part of it to make up the 9,000 acres. Rumor has it that Peachey is still holding out.

Try to go back and look through the archives when the announcement was made by the PGC.They had a topo map outlining the property.

Was supposed to close at the end of July. It was a deal for 9600+/- acres between the PGC and a single landowner. I think you are hearing rumors.

Re: New SGL 87

When I said that they will all have to be included, I meant all the New Forestry properties...the only rumor is that there is another landowner in the area that is supposed to be close to makeing the same deal, and that could add an additional 3000 or so acres. The rest is done, I just haven't seen what parcels are included. I'll look in the archives again.
