Remington Model 7 7mm-08 S/S and 722 in 257 Robert

Two rifles for sale.

1- Remington model 7 chambered 7mm-08. Has a stainless barrel/action and a synthetic stock. Gun has had a professional trigger job. Shoots well, just never gets used. Includes a set of Leupold bases and rings. $610.00

2- Remington model 722 chambered in 257 Roberts. Very clean gun for it's age and in great shape. Rear sight is missing and a dovetail insert has been installed. This is a very nice gun in a very good caliber for the Pennsylvania woods. $535.00

Both of these guns are very nice. If I didn't just find a Mountain rifle in 257 roberts and start the build of a 6.5 short mag, I wouldn't be selling them. Since they are essentially duplicates, I don't have a need for them. Must ship by all applicable laws. Shipping is extra, typically $25.00 insured. I will be making trip to Muncy PA next week during the day if anyone wants to meet along the way, but it must be off of interstate 80 as I don't have alot of time to dillydally.

Does the model 7 have the J lock on the bolt?

I have a mod. 7 but I don't know what a J lock is. Can you explain it?

It is a small J shapped lock on the side of the bolt. It is a locking device that prevents an open bolt from rotating to the closed and locked position.

This link has good pictures of the J lock.

Model 7 is sold, the 257 is still available. I will drop the price on the 257 to $500.00
